Sunscreen is the general term to describe lotions, creams and sprays. In order to help you determine how to choose the appropriate Sun Protection factor (SPF) of the sunscreen for your skin type you can use the following guide. Sunscreens are developed to filter out the harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun regardless of the SPF, which instead determines your sun exposure time.
The sun protection factor (SPF) tells you how long you can stay in the sun without burning whilst wearing the sunscreen. For example, if your skin type can roughly tolerate the sun for 15 minutes without burning then a SPF 30 will provide you with 30 times that amount of time without burning (approx. 450 minutes).
SolRX has been designed with active people in mind and as such it has been developed to be 100% sweatproof and waterproof. If you have experienced in the past the need to reapply sunscreen you'll be very glad to know that SolRX will stay on for up to 8 hours at a time and during this time does not need re-application therefore saving you time and money - most other sunscreens require re-application every 2 hours.
The lotion is light and non-greasy and only takes 2 minutes to apply - perfect when you are in a rush to get on the water. Since it is both sweatproof and waterproof you are far less likely to experience stinging eyes after getting wet - a common annoyance of other sunscreens.
All of these factors combine to produce a sunscreen that is highly suitable to active sports persons and particularly watersports enthusiasts.
SolRX has been approved by the British Standard, Health Canada, South African Standard TGA Australia, FDA USA. Prosport is not tested on animals.
